Doctor of Occupational Therapy Student Graduation Data

The total number of graduates from the ÐßÐßÊÓƵ OTD Program during its first 2-year period 2024-2025 (initial two cohorts) was 22 with an overall graduation rate of 91% as per ACOTE graduation rate reporting requirements and 100% per cohort calendar year reporting.

Program Learning Outcomes

Graduates from the ÐßÐßÊÓƵ Doctor of Occupational Therapy program will be prepared for a career in occupational therapy that contributes to the well-being of all and the occupational needs of society.  Our graduates will:

• Demonstrate excellence in practice as occupation-grounded and evidence-based entry-level occupational therapy professionals.
• Establish professional identity as future-focused leaders in practice, partnerships, and the profession.

Following successful completion of the ÐßÐßÊÓƵ OTD Program, graduates will be eligible to sit for the national certification examination for the occupational therapist administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). After passing the NBCOT exam, certified graduates will be considered an Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR). All states currently require professional licensure in order to practice occupational therapy and generally rely on initial NBCOT certification as part of their individual occupational therapy licensure requirements. Please note, that a felony conviction may affect a graduate’s ability to sit for the NBCOT certification examination or attain state licensure.
