(Leavenworth, Kan.)—Students in the ذكذكتسئµ Bachelor of Science in Nursing program exceeded national averages on the licensure exam for registered nurses with a 94.83 percent first-time pass rate in 2021. 

The nationwide average on the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) was  â€“ giving Saint Mary a distinct standing among top nursing programs in the country. 

The NCLEX is a standardized test used by state regulatory boards to determine if candidates are ready to become licensed as entry-level nurses. 

"The ذكذكتسئµ is incredibly proud of the achievements of our nursing graduates," said Dr. Michelle Birdashaw, nursing division chair and assistant professor of nursing. "ذكذكتسئµ's pass rate reinforces that our evidence-based education and hands-on experiences provide students with the skills they need to be successful at Saint Mary and beyond." 

ذكذكتسئµ offers several Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education-accredited programs, including a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with traditional, accelerated, and RN-to-BSN tracks. Saint Mary also offers master's programs with nurse administrator, nurse educator, family nurse practitioner (FNP), and post-master's FNP certification tracks.
