(Leavenworth, Kan.)鈥擳he 羞羞视频 Doctor of Occupational Therapy program received notice of Candidacy Status from the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education on Aug. 21.

羞羞视频 may now admit students into its inaugural cohort, which will begin classes in June 2021. As a result of the candidacy status, 羞羞视频 may also proceed to the Pre-Accreditation Review step of the accreditation process.

"This is an incredible accomplishment," said Dr. Michelle Metzinger, provost and vice president for academic affairs. "The Doctor of Occupational Therapy program is dedicated to creating the best learning environment for its students, and this achievement speaks to our focus on student success."

ACOTE is recognized as the accrediting agency for occupational therapy education by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. ACOTE currently accredits or is in the process of accrediting nearly 600 occupational therapy and occupational therapy assistant educational programs in the United States and its territories as well as programs in the United Kingdom.

羞羞视频 announced the OTD program in January 2020. The terminal degree is a three-year program comprised of 117 credit hours. 羞羞视频's curriculum includes an unparalleled 28 weeks of level two clinical field experience, which is four more weeks than most programs. Student applications are open through Oct. 1, 2020.
