(Leavenworth, Kan.)—The ذكذكتسئµ will launch its new Doctor of Education in Leadership program, which is focused on developing innovative leadersin Fall 2020

The terminal degree, which the Higher Learning Commission approved in June, will prepare graduates for leadership positions in higher education and provide qualifications to teach graduate courses in a variety of service areas.

"The ذكذكتسئµ EdD program was designed with working professionals in mind," said Program Director Dr. Elizabeth Youngs, SCL. "Our innovative curriculum empowers educators to become effective leaders and transform educational structures. ذكذكتسئµ graduates will have the tools to bring about positive change at their institutions and improve opportunities for the students they serve."

The university is currently accepting applications for its inaugural cohort. Classes are scheduled to begin at the ذكذكتسئµ Overland Park Campus in September. Starting in January, ذكذكتسئµ will expand delivery options to include synchronous sessions.

Students can choose from two concentration areas, including Innovative Leadership in Higher Education and Innovation in Curriculum and Instruction.
