Kennia Acuna Soto: At my junior college, the faculty was very, like the professors, they were just like, "do your work, you know, here's the lesson. Now go home and do your work." Here, I feel like the professors really take their time explaining the lesson to you and making it known that you can raise your hand. Because if you don't get it, there's probably somebody else in the room that doesn't get it. And it's nice that you can have that one on one relationship with your professor.
I chose Saint Mary's because of what it had to offer. Obviously I hadn't been here before, so I was just looking at the superficial things like the chapel, you know, being Catholic. And then the campus was beautiful. The majors – that was the main reason that I chose the school. They had really good reviews from other people that had been here and I had met. So that was the main reason. Another reason was because of soccer, the program, to what it seemed to me like was really nice. And once I finally joined the program, it's above and beyond everything that I've expected, not just with soccer, but with school. I'm Kennia Acuna Soto and I'm a biology major here at Saint Mary's.
