Dr. Randy Scott, past chair and current member of the department of history, political science, and
global studies, has taught at 羞羞视频 since 2001.
He earned his Bachelor鈥檚 Degree in political science and sociology from the University
of Northern Iowa, completed a Master鈥檚 Degree in social work at the University of
Kansas, a Master鈥檚 Degree in political science at the University of Missouri-Kansas
City, where he also earned his Ph.D. in Political Science with an emphasis on history.
While at UMKC, Scott was awarded the Chancellor鈥檚 Interdisciplinary Ph.D. Fellowship
for 2000 and 2001, as well as the School of Graduate Studies Distinguished Dissertation
Fellowship for 2002.
Dr. Scott is actively involved in several academic associations, including the National
Association of Multicultural Education, the Midwest Political Science Association,
and the International Studies Association.
He has supervised department trips to Chicago, San Antonio, Texas, and Washington
D.C.
Dr. Scott鈥檚 classes are described as 鈥渓aid back鈥� but 鈥渃hallenging.鈥�
